Giugiaro Giorgetto
Giorgetto Giugiaro is an italian designer, he was born in Garessio (7 August 1938). Famous for automotive design also specializes in industrial and trasport design.
In 1968 he become an entrepreneur founding the Giugiaro Italdesign, company with the ambition to provide comprehensive services to the automotive industry,from the design of new cars in the early tests and assistence on several fronts.Currently the parent company has also developed a division, the Giugiaro Design whose activity is focused on industrial and transport design.
During his career, Giugiaro has received many honors in the national field with the conferment of the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro, with the awarding of an honorary degree, with the award of prizes such as the Golden Compass. His fame has crossed the national borders of a lot, in fact since 2002 is part of the Automotive Hall of Fame and in 1999 was awarded the title of Car Designer of the Century, conferred in Las Vegas by a panel of 120 journalists and international experts.
