Massoni Luigi
Massoni Luigi is an architect and designer. He was born in Milan (22 January 1930). Its activity can not be related only to that of architect: for about thirty years he has also worked as a designer, journalist and publisher.

After years of training at the "Collective of Architecture" in Milan and the first experiences between 1953 and 1955, he began working as a designer for Alessi realizing the bar set and containers the "Series 5" still in production. Between 1957 and 1960 by the architect Carlo De Carli contributes to productive and professional renewal, participating in various events promoted in those years. Always with De Carli founded "The Italian Mobile". In 1959, involving a group of industrialists of the cabinet, he founded "furniture", one of the first centers for the promotion of Italian design. Also in 1959 he joined, as a designer and coordinator of production, Boffi kitchens, creating some of the first modular systems for the home and kitchen. From this experience, as a designer and art director, he reinforced the image of several Italian and foreign industries operating in the following sectors: furniture (kitchens, modular furniture, chairs, etc.). Plastics, Ceramics and porcelain, glass and crystal, metals and precious metals, leather goods and accessories, Gifts, household items. Publisher and editor of "Marble Technical Architecture" (1956-1963), "Forms" (from 1962). Through its publications occupies a key role in the development of industrial and craft enterprises.
His works (published in the most important Italian and foreign magazines) have received numerous awards and recognitions. The activities of Masons was important to address the evolution of the development of crafts throughout the territory of the Marche to the design, deepening their knowledge of technology and the ability to serialize the production.
